An Inside Look at Five Years of Community Impact

Tiny Home Takeout is turning five, and we’re inviting the community to celebrate with us at our 5th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 PM at 56 Duke St. West, Kitchener.

During the open house, you’ll step inside Tiny Home Takeout and see what happens behind the scenes. As you move through the space, you’ll learn how it all began in 2021. You’ll also see how the organization has grown over the past five years. Along the way, you’ll explore key moments that shaped Tiny Home Takeout into a place built around food, connection, and care.

At the same time, you’ll get a closer look at the kitchen and daily operations. You’ll see how meals are prepared and shared with intention. You’ll also learn how food brings people together and strengthens community connections.

This open house is designed to be easy and welcoming. You’re free to stop by briefly or take some time to walk through it all. Meanwhile, there will be time to ask questions, hear stories, and better understand the work happening in the space.

After the open house, guests are invited to Grab A Bite during regular service hours. This offers a chance to experience Tiny Home Takeout just like so many community members do.

Ultimately, this event is about connection and reflection. Whether you’ve been part of the journey from the start or are visiting for the first time, we’d love to welcome you in and celebrate five years together.
